RICHMOND, Va. -- A cold front will knock temperatures back into the low to mid 70s today but no rain is expected from the front. Sunshine will continue Thursday, with considerable clouds not arriving until Friday. The clouds will thicken throughout the day Friday, but our weather will remain dry.
Hurricane Delta should make landfall along the Louisiana coast Friday afternoon, with the remnant moisture moving northeast into our region this weekend. We'll have a slight chance for rain on Saturday, with rain likely Sunday into Monday.
Another storm system will bring a chance of rain to the area Tuesday, followed by dry weather for the rest of the week.
There are no significant tropical disturbances in the Atlantic Basin other than Hurricane Delta. More details about Delta can be found in the CBS 6 Interactive Tropical Tracker.
