RICHMOND, Va. --
Clear and cold conditions are expected tonight as a broad area of high pressure settles into the region. Thursday will be sunny and a little milder, with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Winds will increase late morning through mid afternoon to 10-20 mph out of the northwest. Clouds will increase on Friday as winds increase out of the south, bringing more warmth and humidity to the area. Rain will move into the area late Friday night, and will taper during the morning hours Saturday. Sunday will be a pleasant day, with only a low chance for rain in the late afternoon and early evening. Another storm system will bring a good chance of rain to the area on Monday, followed by drier and warmer weather next Tuesday and Wednesday.
