RICHMOND, Va. -- Skies will gradually clear in all areas overnight as high pressure settles into the region. Expect mostly sunny and seasonal conditions this weekend, with cold overnights and cool afternoons.
Clouds will increase during the day Monday as another upper-level disturbance approaches the area. Rain appears to be the dominant precipitation type as this system moves through Virginia on Tuesday. A push of dry air will bring mostly sunny conditions back to the region next Wednesday and Thursday.
There continues to be a strong signal for a blast of very cold air to arrive next Friday and Saturday.
Have a great weekend, and Stay with CBS 6, The Weather Authority.
