RICHMOND, Va. --- Tonight will be mostly cloudy and cool, with a few light rain showers possible by morning. Tuesday will be a warmer day, with highs in the mid to upper 60s. A weak cold front will knock temperatures back about 8 to 10 degrees on Wednesday and skies will remain mostly cloudy. Ridging will develop over the eastern U.S. Thursday into Friday, bringing a surge of warmth to the region. Expect highs in the mid 70s on Thursday and mid 80s on Friday. A strong cold front will bring a chance for a few thunderstorms Friday, followed by much cooler weather this weekend.
