RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police Department detectives have identified the man killed in adouble shootingthat took place early Sunday morning.
Around 1:35 a.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of Dawson Road for the report of a shooting.
Once police arrived, they found two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Jerome Montague, a man in his 30s, was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
The second victimwas taken to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
