A look at snow totals across Central Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. -- A range of snow totals were reported across Central Virginia after rain transitioned to a mix and then snow Thursday evening. Snow continued in Central Virginia overnight into Friday morning.

Totals ranged from nearly 2 inches in Short Pump, to nearly 3 at the WTVR studios in Richmond's Museum District to 5 inches in Hanover County. Additionally, there was one report of 6.5 inches in Ashland while ice was reported in Blackstone.

In coastal Virginia, totals ranged from 4.5 in Tappahannock, 4.8 in Mollusk and 5.5 inches in King George.

And in the Fredericksburg area, totals ranged from 4.8 to 5.8 inches.
