RICHMOND, Va. — A person suffered minor injuries after being assaulted and strangled on VCU's campus Thursday night, according to VCU Police.
Officers were called around 9 p.m. Thursday to the 1200 block of West Cary Street.
Police said a group of people attacked someone after a verbal altercation.
Police do not have a suspect description at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the VCU Police Department at 804-828-1234.
