RICHMOND, Va. -- A teenager is expected to survive following a shooting in Richmond on Monday evening.
Richmond Police Units were called shortly before 7 PM for a report of a person shot in the 1400 block of Silver Ave.
Once on scene police located a teenage boy suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
