Teen killed in Richmond double shooting

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police have identified the victim killed in a Gilpin Court shooting Wednesday night as a male teenager.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of St. Paul Street for the report of random gunfire and a person shot at approximately 11:58 p.m.

When officers arrived, they located a teen and adult male suffering from gunshot wounds in an alley near St. Peter Street.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital to be treated. The teen later died at the hospital. His name has not been released due to his age.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

The second victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
