HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A driver was killed in a crash with a truck carrying timber at a busy intersection in Henrico County Saturday morning.
Henrico Police said officers were called to the two-vehicle wreck at Staples Mill Road and Glenside Drive at 11:10 a.m.
Officers said an SUV rear-ended a work truck that was carrying timber.
Wayne Obryant, the driver of the SUV and the only person in the car, was killed, according to police.
There was no word if the driver of the truck was injured.
Officers are investigating the cause of the wreck.
