Senior Alert issued for missing Richmond man

RICHMOND, Va. -- Virginia State Police has issued a Senior Alert for a Richmond man who was last seen early Wednesday morning.

The Veterans Affairs Police Department is searching 69-year-old Marvin Grantum.

Grantum was last seen around 5:47 a.m. Wednesday on Broad Rock Boulevard in the City of Richmond.

Grantum is described as a black man, 5 foot 11 inches tall, 190 pounds, with brown eyes, and black hair. He is possibly wearing blue plaid shirt and dark striped colored pants, according to police.

Officials say Grantum senior suffers from a cognitive impairment and the disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
