Richmond Police searching for stolen SUV belonging to homicide victim

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police are searching for a stolen SUV belonging to the victim of the homicide earlier this week.

On Sunday, October 11, officers responded to the 100 block of Erich Road for the report of a person down just before midnight.

When officers arrive at the scene, they located Ricky G. Seldon suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Detectives are now working to find Seldon’s dark gray 2009 Infiniti QX56, which has been reported as stolen. The Virginia license plate is JCF8VR.

If you see the vehicle parked and unoccupied, call the RPD non-emergency line at (804)646-5100. If you observe the vehicle moving, call 911 as the occupants should be considered armed and dangerous.
