RICHMOND, Va. -- Police are investigating the death of a man found in a Richmond alley.
"Officers were called to the 1100 block of North 34th Street for the report of a person down," a Richmond Police spokesperson wrote in an email. "Officers arrived and found an adult male in an alley suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene."
The man's body was discovered at about 9:05 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6.
The man's name has not yet been released.
The Medical Examiner will determine how he died.
