HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- A truck driver was charged with reckless driving after he crashed on an icy Interstate 95 Thursday morning.

The crash was reported at 9:46 a.m. near mile marker 88 in Hanover County.

"The preliminary investigation reveals that a 2015 Freightliner tractor-trailer was headed north on I-95 in the center-right lane when it ran off the road to the left and came to rest in the median facing south," a Virginia State Police spokesperson wrote in an email.
