CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police arrested two men wanted in the armed robbery of a Chesterfield County motel.
The men were accused of robbing the Super 8 Motel at 2421 Southland Drive in Chester at approximately 4:50 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
"Through investigation based on a tip from the public, police identified the suspects as Luke J. Johnson, 45, and Harry L. Jines Jr., 53," a Chesterfield Police spokesperson wrote in an email.
After entering the motel, one of the men pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded money, police said.
Both men ran off after they got the cash, police added. No one was physically injured.
Johnson was arrested and charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, use of a firearm while in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Jines was charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Both men are being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.
