HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- Police are asking for the public's help in locating a 17-year-old boy who has been missing from Mechanicsville since Wednesday.
Matthew Jose Carter, 17, was last seen in the area of Mechanicsville Turnpike & Lee-Davis Road on March 4. He is described as a black male, 5’5” tall and 108 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black Calvin Klein hooded jacket, blue jeans and black and red Adidas shoes. He may be heading to the Pittsburgh area in Pennsylvania.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Matthew Carter is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at 804-365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also download the “P3 Tips” app for their mobile device to submit their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
