Police identify woman found dead near Chesterfield bowling alley

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Police have identified the woman found dead near a Chesterfield County bowling alley on Sunday, April 19.

Police were called to the area of Holiday Bowl, located at 11400 Jefferson Davis Highway, for a report of a suspicious situation at 7:30 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the body of a deceased adult female. That woman has been identified as 55-year-old Pamela S. Newcomb.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has determined that Newcomb's manner of death was homicide.

Police have not released any information about a suspect or possible motive at this time.
