RICHMOND, Va. -- Police have identified a man shot and killed in Whitcomb Court Wednesday evening as Jamoine Tyler, a male in his 30s.
Officers responded to the 2300 block of Ambrose Street for the report of a person shot at approximately 6:06 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Tyler suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Police have not released any information on a suspect or motive at this time.
