Police identify man found shot to death inside Richmond apartment

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police have identified a man shot and killed inside a Richmond apartment last week as James Daniels, a male in his twenties.

On November 13, officers were called to the 900 block of Oliver Hill Way for the report of a person shot at approximately 3:16 p.m.

When officer arrived at the scene, officers found Daniels in an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

Police are calling the fatal shooting a death investigation at this time.
