Man found shot to death inside Richmond apartment

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police have launched a death investigation after a fatal shooting Friday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 900 block of Oliver Hill Way for the report of a person shot at approximately 3:16 p.m.

Upon arrival, offers found a man inside an apartment down and unresponsive suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

The Major Crimes division’s detectives are investigating this incident.
