HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- A Mechanicsville man was arrested on Monday for distribution and possession of child pornography.
A search warrant was executed at the home of 31-year-old Madison Legrand "Lee" Jones of Mechanicsville, VA by members of the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Richmond Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit and The Southern Virginia ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force.
A search of the residence revealed digital images of child exploitation, according to police.
Jones was arrested for Distribution of Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography.
Jones is being held with no bond at Pamunkey Regional Jail. Investigators continue to review the evidence.
