RICHMOND, Va. -- Police are investigating after a man was found shot outside an apartment building in Richmond's East End Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to the 2500 block of Rosetta Street in the Fairfield Court public housing neighborhood just before 2:20 p.m.
"Officers arrived and found an adult male outside of an apartment building suffering from an apparent gunshot wound," a police spokesperson said. "He was transported to a local hospital with an injury that is not considered life threatening."
Officials said the department's Major Crimes division’s detectives are investigating.
