PETERSBURG, Va. -- Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting along the 900 block of Halifax Street in Petersburg. The shooting took place at a convenience store, according to Crime Insider sources.
"Petersburg Police responded for the report of a person shot [at approximately 7:17 p.m.]," a Petersburg Police spokesperson said. "Officers arrived on scene and located a male victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound."
Two other shooting victims later arrived at Southside Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not yet released information about a suspect, nor a motive.
