HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A man is in life-threatening condition following a shooting in Henrico County on Wednesday.
The shooting happened around 5:15 p.m. on Fayette Avenue in Henrico's Northside.
The victim was shot in the chest and is in life-threatening condition at VCU Medical Center, according to Crime Insider sources.
Witnesses say that they heard medics announce that the victim had a pulse when they arrived at the scene.
Crime Insider sources say the shooting was spurred by a fight over the sale of a pair of shoes.
Police are working with neighbors and witnesses to identify the suspect.
