Man arrested in armed robbery of Chesterfield grocery store

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Police have arrested a man in connection to an armed robbery at a Chesterfield County grocery store.

On Saturday, Jan. 4, police say a man robbed the Aldi grocery store at 7500 Harpers Green Way at about 8:50 p.m.

Police said the suspect entered the store, displayed a firearm and demanded money from the cash register. No one was injured during the incident.

After receiving cash, the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Dylan M. Bowie, is accused of fleeing the store.

On May 7, detectives obtained warrants for Bowie for robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in relation to the incident.

Bowie, of Richmond, was arrested on May 8 and is currently being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.

Police continue their investigation into this incident.
