Etute, 18, of Virginia Beach, was arrested the next morning.

Details about the deceased were not yet released.

"Etute is being held at the Montgomery County Jail without bond," the police statement continued. "This is an ongoing investigation anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact the Blacksburg Police Department."
