CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Chesterfield Police are investigating after human remains were discovered at Pocahontas State Park on Wednesday.
Police say they responded to the park for a report that human remains had been found deep in the woods. When officers arrived at the scene, they located the remains of the unidentified person.
Investigators tell CBS 6 that the skeletal remains were found by a hunter looking around for a place to hunt.
The remains were then transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
