Deputies seek man accused of stealing trailer in Hanover

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- Deputies are asking for the public’s help to identify a man accused of stealing a trailer in Hanover County last month.

On October 18, deputies responded to the 7200 block of Atlee Road for the larceny of a trailer.

Surveillance video shows a silver Ford F-150, 4-door pick-up truck, back up to the trailer.

"The passenger, a white male, exited the vehicle and hooked the trailer to the truck. The suspects were on scene for less than one minute," said a sheriff's office spokesperson.

The trailer is described as a 2020 18’ Holmes Dual Axle Trailer. Features include a yellow Gorilla Lift ramp assist, a black DeeZee blow molded tool box, two bright green, Green Touch backpack blower racks and one bright green, Green Touch trimmer rack.

Anyone with information about this incident, or who can identify the suspect, is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780- 1000. Citizens can also download the “P3 Tips” app for their mobile devices to submit their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
