RICHMOND, Va. -- One of the last people who saw Curtis and Sandra Wyche alive said the couple was happy when they were together.

"You could tell the love that they have for each other because when you see one you usually see the other," Curtis' aunt Diane Lewis said. "They are laughing, holding hands always taking pictures."

Sandra, 49, and Curtis, 36, ate dinner with Lewis' Sunday night.

On Tuesday, they were reported missing.

On Wednesday, they were found shot to death.

Sandra's son Trevon Powell was one of the people who reported the couple missing.

He's since been arrested for their murder.

The couple's bodies were hidden in a closet of their Chamberlayne Avenue, Crime Insider sources told Jon Burkett.

Sandra was a nurse at the Westminster Canterbury retirement community.

"She was faithful to her job. She loved it," Lewis said.

While the investigation remains in its early stages, Crime Insider sources told Jon Burkett investigators were looking into whether Powell disapproved of his mother's recent marriage.

Anyone with information about the crime was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
