CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Chesterfield Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place on Thursday night.
Around 7:40 pm, officers were called to the 9500 block of Cattail Road after reports of a shooting.
"A few minutes later, police received a second call about a male that had been shot. The victim was pronounced deceased at scene," a police spokesperson said.
The victim's information is being withheld until next of kin is notified, according to police.
