3 people wounded in Memorial Day shooting near VCU

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond Police are investigating a triple shooting Monday night near VCU’s Monroe Park Campus.

Officers were called to the 300 block of West Broad Street, near the intersection at North Madison Street at approximately 9:49 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. That victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Two additional victims were self-transported the hospital.

All three victim’s suffered from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Investigators say there's no motive or suspect information at this time.
