NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. -- Three people were hurt after a three-vehicle crash along Interstate 64 in New Kent County Sunday evening, according to Virginia State Police.
Troopers were called to the wreck on I-64 near the exit for New Kent Highway just before 8 p.m.
"A tractor-trailer and Ford Mustang collided on I-64," a state police spokesperson said. "The impact of the crash caused the Mustang to run off the left side of the interstate, cross through the median and strike a pickup truck."
Three people were injured and transported to an area hospital, according to state police.
Troopers said the crash remains under investigation.
