21-year-old man wanted for using dating apps, stealing victims cars

Henrico Police are searching for a man who allegedly uses dating apps to set up dates before stealing items from his victims, including their cars.

Mr. Tylik Sayvon Davis, age 21 has been using dating apps to set up dates, according to police. After the initial encounter, Davis will take the victim’s personal items including their vehicle.

The last vehicle was stolen on February 12, 2020 and later recovered in Virginia Beach.

There are warrants for Tylik’s arrest.

Community members should not approach, but rather contact their local police department, Crime Stoppers at 780.1000, or “P3Tips” on your smartphone device. Henrico Police reminds everyone to think about personal safety when meeting someone for the first time:

• Meet in a public place and not at your home
• Avoid putting a lot of personal details on your profile
• Arrange your own transportation
• Keep friends and family aware of plans
