HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police arrested two people after officers found them using heroin in a car alongside children in Henrico County.
Police saw this happen Saturday at what they called a known drug location on Mechanicsville Turnpike near I-64.
The mother of the children, 23-year-old Nichole Vaccarelli, and 26-year-old Troy Love are both facing drug possession and mistreatment of children charges.
Police said the children were turned over to their grandparents.
