We’ll see a greater threat for scattered showers and thunderstorms later this evening in the metro area and again on Tuesday as a “cool” front slides into the region.
Daytime highs on Tuesday will be closer to 90°.
It will be slightly cooler and less humid Wednesday into Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
A dome of very hot air building across the central U.S. will slowly shift east by the end of the week, bringing us some serious heat next week.
