Funeral services set for murdered Richmond artist

RICHMOND, Va. — Funeral services are scheduled for a murdered homeless man known around Richmond for his artistic skills.

Friends and family will say their final goodbyes to Albert Trower at the Cape Charles Full Gospel Church at 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon.

The 56-year-old was gunned down on Playn Street on July 10th.

Police later arrested 23-year-old Shawn Richardson, he is charged in the murder.

Trower was known in the neighborhood for his drawing skills earning him the nickname “cartoon”.
