LOUISA COUNTY, Va. — A man shot Sunday night in Mineral was listed in critical condition Monday, according to Louisa County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Major Donnie Lowe.
The man was shot in the stomach during an 11:30 p.m. argument on Richmond Avenue, Lowe said.
A second man was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding and Use of a Firearm during the commission of a felony in connection with the shooting.
Investigators have not released any names in this case, but said both men were from Louisa County.
“The department has not ruled out self-defense at this time,” Lowe said.
