CHESTERFIELD, Va. – A man walked into a Chesterfield Bed, Bath Beyond and swiped some very expensive Dyson vacuum cleaners.

He walked out the front door and Chesterfield Police believe he had help getting away.

The crime actually occurred on March 3, but now police have released images and said they hope someone will recognize the man in this patterned sweater.

They said he walked around Bed, Bath and Beyond for 10 minutes, and then headed straight to the door with two very expensive Dyson vacuum cleaners in tow.

The items come with large price tags and cost anywhere from $399 to nearly $700 each.

“Well, he needs to be punished,” said shopper Cornelia Carter. “He doesn`t have any God in him. If he did, he wouldn`t be stealing.

“I don`t know what type of upbringing he had, because in my day, you didn`t do that,” she added.

These surveillance pictures show the man in the patterned sweater walking out past the registers with the items to an accomplice out front. Both got away in a blue older model sedan.
