SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va -- An AMBER Alert has been issued for a missing toddler.
Zion Williams, 3, was last seen in Spotsylvania Wednesday. Investigators said the child may be with 28-year-old Joshua Williams.
Joshua assaulted Zion's mother before taking the child, police said.
Zion was last seen wearing a blue and white Cars diaper.
He has brown hair and brown eyes, is 3-foot-5-inches in height, and 35 pounds.
Joshua Williams has black hair, brown eyes, is 5-feet-11-inches in height and weighs 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy blue and gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The vehicle they were believed to be traveling in, a tan Nissan Altima with Virginia license plates, was located overnight. There were no signs of Zion Williams or Joshua Williams, though.
Anyone who sees them is urged to call 911 immediately.
