RICHMOND, Va. — A man is in the hospital after being shot during an attempted armed robbery in the city’s Southside.
Police say the incident occurred a little after 6:45 a.m. on the 1100 block of Southwood Parkway when a man was approached by an unknown male with a weapon. The suspect demanded money and then shot the victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
