RIDGEWAY, Va. — Kyle Busch gave his fans plenty to cheer about inside Martinsville Speedway — winning Sunday’s race in Ridgeway, Virginia. But it was outside the speedway where Busch got perhaps the most enthusiastic cheer of his racing career.
The NASCAR driver made one fan do a double take and scream when he pulled up beside her outside the racetrack. Busch posted the encounter on his Facebook page.
When he first honked his horn and waved at the fan — who was wearing a Kyle Busch M&M’S 75 hat — he got no response.
“Roll down your window baby, she can’t see you,” a woman next to Busch said.
So Busch rolled down his window, and then — magic.
Kyle Busch: Hey. ‘Sup?
Fan: Oh my God! Oh my God it’s f***ing him! Sh*t!
Kyle Busch: How are you?
Fan: I freaking love ya’ll!
Kyle Busch: Give me your hat.
Fan: Oh my God! (hands over her hat for Busch to sign)
Fan: You are freaking awesome!
Kyle Busch: Good to see you guys, thanks!
“I’m the one in the video Kyle!” a woman named Darienne Breazeale posted on the driver’s Facebook page. “You absolutely made my life! I couldn’t have asked for anything better to happen to me!! I am your absolute biggest fan and always will be! It was amazing to see you win twice this weekend!!! Absolutely amazing!!”
