HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — Virginia State police tell CBS 6 one person is dead after an incident on I-95 SB at Exit 86 in Hanover County.
Police said the incident happened around 11:16 p.m.
The road is closed and will be for an extended period of time. As of 1 a.m. the backup is one mile. Drivers can expect delays in the area.
VDOT says traffic on I-95 SB is being diverted to Exit 89 at Lewistown Rd. Drivers can use Route 1 as an alternate route.
