ROANOKE, Va. –A re-trial for six reputed gang members accused of murdering an auxiliary police captain is underway in Roanoke.
These suspects are all charged in the 2014 murder of Waynesboro police reservist Kevin Quick.
He was found shot to death in Goochland County.
A Charlottesville judge order the trial moved to Roanoke after one of the suspects somehow got a list of the jurors during their original trail in May.
Jurors will now be semi-anonymous, for their protection.
Late last week a judge denied a request from two of the defendants to dismiss some of the charges.
Prosecutors say the accused are members of the 99 Goon syndicate, a branch of the Bloods street gang.
