RICHMOND, Va. –The Virginia Department of Transportation posted a neat video that shows how you can potentially save time when shoveling your driveway.
Once you have it shoveled, you should also shovel away the snow that is on the shoulder facing the street in the first 10 feet from your driveway entrance.
VDOT said that by creating that open area, it lessens the chance a low will throw snow back onto your driveway. That means you will not have to shovel out that snow at the end of your driveway all over again.
