RICHMOND, Va. — This New Year’s Eve, get home safe with a free ride provided by Napoleon Taxi and the personal injury law firm of Allen & Allen.

The law firm annually offers a free ride home as an incentive not to drink and drive.

They pick up the tab for anyone taking a taxi home in the metro Richmond area, from 10 p.m on New Year’s Eve to  5 a.m. on  Jan. 1.

There is one caveat though; you must ask for the Sober Ride Home to be eligible for the free fare.

“We see too many tragic results of drinking and driving in our practice,” said firm president Trent Kerns. “We want to do our part to keep our community safe on one of the biggest drinking nights of the year. Anyone who is unable to safely drive home this New Year’s Eve will receive a free sober ride home courtesy of Allen & Allen.”

If you are in the metro Richmond area and feel unsafe driving on New Year’s Eve, simply call Napoleon Taxi at 804-354-8294 or 354-TAXI.

Allen & Allen will pick up the tab for the free cab rides between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. and the ride is only for people going home.

To make this easy on yourself at 2 a.m. Friday, here are the steps:

  1. Call Napoleon Taxi at 354-TAXI
  2. Ask for the Sober Ride Home to be eligible for the free fare
