Newbys Ridge Road accident
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Police said charges are pending against the driver of a pickup truck that overturned with a child in the passenger seat.
A photo of the crash shows the white pickup overturned on Newbys Ridge Road shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the 29-year-old driver and a 7-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital with what were described as not life-threatening injuries.
Police later said alcohol appears to be a factor in the accident.
