MONTPELIER, Va. – A copperhead snake was spotted at the Hollows Golf Club in Montpelier.
A Twitter friend shared this picture with us and said it's the fourth one he has spotted on the course so far this summer.
Some golfers said knowing copperheads have been caught nearby made them nervous.
Copperheads like to hang around wooded areas and make their homes around rocks or ledges, if one bites you get some treatment immediately.
