RICHMOND, Va. – Scores of folks packed Broad Street as more than 70 restaurants served up signature dishes during the 8th annual Broad Appetit food festival Sunday.
WTVR CBS 6 reporter Joe St. George got to do some research at one of the biggest food event in Virginia and tried Mosaic’s scallion dish. (He really liked it.)
The event also featured several of the state’s finest craft beers and wine on tap. Plus, there was awesome music.
Shoryuken Ramen on Franklin Street won this year’s “To Dine For Award” for their “Slingin’ Chicken and Veggie Hiyashi Chuka.”
Celebration is not complete without a beach ball! #broadappetit #ramenrva #rvadine
Broad Appetit is hosted by the Downtown Neighborhood Association to benefit FeedMore, which hands out out more than 20 million pounds of food to those in need.
