DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. –Authorities said a motorcyclist was injured in a wreck involving a semi along Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie County Wednesday afternoon.
It happened on I-85 north near the Carson Road exit (mile marker 52) just before 5 p.m.
Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Vick said that the motorcyclist was changing lanes when he struck the tractor-trailer.
Medflight transported the driver of the motorcycle to VCU Medical Center.
Vick said the man’s injuries were serious.
