CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — The Chesterfield community with the help of the Sheriff’s Department is coming together this weekend to help a little girl battling cancer.
According to her father, Jonathan Vandermark, four-year-old Virginia Rose has high-risk Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was diagnosed after developing a rash during spring break.
She’s been at VCU Medical Center since April 7.
This Saturday the Chesterfield Sheriff’s Department will host a car wash dedicated to Virginia Rose.
It’s being held at the Dairy Queen in Midlothian on the 3900 block of Bailey Bridge Road from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
